Who's that bee?

Feel free to friend and read. Regrettably, I probably won't be friending you back, sorry! Fear not because my entries are all public.

I do have a personal LJ, but chances are, I won't be friending you on that, either, unless you've also got the same kind of set up. If you're really eager to read about my personal life, ask for my personal LJ username, and I may be inclined to give it to you.

Every hive has its rules

1. Respect. Number one for a reason. Respect me, the queen bee, respect the commenters, respect the things I post. If you don't agree, that's okay! Just make sure you leave constructive criticism and positive comments, and keep your angry words/flames to yourself. My hive is a happy hive and I like my bees to all get along.
2. Rights. I am a US citizen and a longtime LJ user. I know the laws. According to the First Constitutional Amendment, I have a right to free speech, which means that I am able to express my opinion and post whatever I want. Of course there are specific limits and restrictions, but mostly, this is what I'm interested in and think others might be, too. If you have something not-so-nice to say, take a peek at rule number 1 again.
3. Content. This ties in with the first two, surprise surprise. The content material in here will probably be adult in nature, which is legal for me since I'm over 18. If you're not, or don't want to read that kind of stuff, there's similar MPAA ratings on my fiction, along with a (very, very) brief explanation as to why it's rated how it is. If I post anything else that's rather fandom-y, I'll warn if there's strong language and spoilers. Which brings me to...
4. Spoilers. I am a spoiler friendly girl. I live for them. Somehow, no matter how many spoilers I read, I'm still surprised. Small things amuse small minds! I'll always warn and LJ-cut before posting/discussing spoilers, just in case you may not be hip on them. I know, I'm a nice queen bee.
5. The lovin'. I support gay marriage/homosexual relationships. I write and roleplay hetero- and homosexual relationships. I, myself, am heterosexual. You may agree, you may disagree, but either way, like I keep repeating, I'll warn you, in case that's not your thing. And whether it is or isn't, you're still welcome around the hive! The more, the merrier.
6. Me. Like it says up there in number 1, respect me. I'm a private person--my close friends will tell you that--and my LJ is friends only. I'm that way for a reason. I reserve the right to change any subject material/rules/information presented. I reserve the right to add, delete, and screen or unscreen comments. I reserve the right to change the privacy settings on entries. I reserve the right to add or delete you as a friend at will. I reserve the right to voicing my opinions and possibly having some good ol' fashioned debate with you.
